Suitable place
I think, to have a wall fountain in your house, whether a slate wall fountain or some other design, you'd need a house that can accommodate such a design feature. Soothing and all as these things may be, having one drizzling down your wall in a room that was barely large enough to fit you and the family dog, is probably not ideal. On the other hand, I'm sure one would go well in one of those large houses we walked passed in St Clair the other day, the ones that overlook the sea, with the horizon cutting the view sharply in half, and the cliff edge falling dramatically away from your backyard.
